Is Maintenance Important?

You may wonder if conducting regular maintenance on your equipment is worthwhile. The answer is yes! The costs of maintaining your equipment are dwarfed compared to the costs associated with equipment failure or replacement. Having your pump regularly inspected by one of Foundation Electrical’s specialist technicians means identifying major faults before they occur. The picture above demonstrates an extreme example of neglecting maintenance. By not having the pump inspected, an electrical fault caused a fire within the terminal box. Luckily this incident happened in the winter months. If it had happened in the summer period, it could have resulted in a bushfire. This places yourself and your neighbours’ livelihood at risk. By conducting regular maintenance and inspections, you can mitigate these potential hazards. So next time, instead of asking if maintenance is worthwhile, you should rather ask yourself if it is worthwhile to protect your equipment and property.
